HISTORY OF NATIONAL CAREER DAYS

Forum “National Career Days” was held for the first time in 2002 under the name “Careers”. The event took place in Sofia and 38 companies participated. In the next several years the Forum developed rapidly and gained significance as a national career forum.

In 2004 the forum was held in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, it was visited by 10, 500 students and 83 companies participate in the forum.

In 2006 “National Career Days” expanded further to Veliko Tarnovo and Ruse. Employers became 119 and visitors doubled to 19,000.

In 2012 for the first time a seminar program with company presentations and case studies is organized not only in Sofia, but also in the cities of Varna, Plovdiv and Svishtov. The Forum becomes even more fascinating, beneficial and successful in the last years.

Record number of employers (191) participated in the event in 2016.

In 2020, “National Career Days” were held for the first time completely virtually. On March 24, 25 and 26. The online events were visited by 110 leading companies from all over the country and by 5,217 online visitors.

In 2021 “National Career Days” were held in three cities and virtually - оn April 8, May 10, 12, 18 and 19. The event was visited by 65 companies and 3 000 students.

In 2022, “National Career Days” started to go back to normal after the pandemic.
